If you open a drawing for which there are remaining tasks, you will be presented the following dialog informing you about pending tasks.

If you click on Open now all drawing connected to your drawing will be opened and then closed again.

If you click on Do not Open the connected drawings won't be opened and therefore the from or to properties will still be marked as unresolved and can be resolved later.

You can also click on the "Update remaining From/To tasks" you can manually initiate the process of the remaining tasks.
