Project reports offer the possibility to print, ex- or import data in a predefined form.

The option "Add missing reports" copies the reports which are not in the target project.

With the option "Remove reports not in the source" removes the reports which are in the target project but not in the source project.

"Overwrite reports" just overwrites the reports of the target project with the ones from the source project. There is NO check whether the reports are equal or not. They just will be overwritten.
