This chapter describes the steps you go through if we ask you to send us log files and version numbers to help answering your support ticket.
1.Close AutoCAD Plant 3D
2.Close PlantCenter, PlantDataManager, PlantReporter
3.Use File Explorer and go to %appdata%\ACPlant Consult\PlantTools\Log
4.Delete all files in this log folder
5.Start AutoCAD Plant 3D or the PlantTools where the error occurs
6.Force the error to appear
7.If there is no error dialog, then make a screenshot from the issue you recognize ans skip to step 11
8.Make a screenshot from the error dialog (assuming one appears)
9.Extend the Details section of the error dialog
10.Copy and Paste the text in a text file (plain txt file, not Word) or in your email
11.Make a screenshot of the Infobox
Can be found under Help-->Info for all PlantTools except PlantExpressTools. Here it can be found under Settings-->General-->Info.
12. Close AutoCAD Plant 3D or the PlantTools where the error occurs
13. Copy all files from the log folder into your email
You can also zip all files, but use RAR format (everything else gets blocked).
