This chapter lists the workflows and how the files of the Assign Tag function are handled in a Collaboration (BIM360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud) environment.

These are the files used by the Assign Tag function

1.AssignTagProperties.xml
 
This file exist in each project ([PROJCTFOLDER]\ACPlantTools\PlantExpressTools\ClassesAndProperties\AssignTagProperties.xml).
 
In the project, all settings from the Settings dialog are stored.

hmtoggle_arrow1        Opening/Downloading an existing Collaboration project

This is handled if the project doesn't exist in the work folder yet and everything needs to be downloaded from scratch.

1.AssignTagProperties.xml => DOWNLOADED
 

hmtoggle_arrow1        Sharing an existing project (which already has an AssignTagProperties.xml) to ACC

When sharing a project with an AssignTagProperties.xml file the following files are handled:

1.AssignTagProperties.xml => CHECKED IN

If you open the PlantExpressTools Settings Dialog the following files are handled:

1.PlantToolsSetup.xml => CHECKED OUT

If you close the PlantExpressTools Settings Dialog the following files are handled:

1.AssignTagProperties.xml => CHECKED IN

2.PlantToolsSetup.xml => CHECKED IN

If you select the Assign Tag tab the following files are handled:

1.AssignTagProperties.xml => CHECKED OUT
