The Properties Palette can be set in a way, that it opens when Plant 3D is started (see Properties Palette).

If you want to open the Properties Palette yourself, you simply click on the Properties Palette toggle button in the ribbon.

The Properties Palette opens with no visible data. Only if you click on an object you will see the properties.

To close the Properties Palette you can click on the toggle button again or you simple use the close button on the Properties Palette.
