This chapter describes the workflows when using NPOs with Collaboration projects.

This is specific to the Collaboration workflow. General info about the use of NPOs can be found under Introduction & Workflow.

hmtoggle_arrow1        Creating NPOs or Relationships

If you add a NPO or a Relationship then the following files are handled:

1.Selected DWG => CHECKED OUT
 

hmtoggle_arrow1        Deleting NPOs or Relationships

If you delete a NPO or a Relationship then the following files are handled:

1.Selected DWG => CHECKED OUT
 

hmtoggle_arrow1        Editing NPOs in XML file

If you edit a NPO or a Relationship which are still in the XML file and haven't been imported yet into the Process Power then the following files are handled:

1.NPO_[DWGGUID].xml => CHECKED OUT

2.Selected DWG => CHECKED OUT
 

hmtoggle_arrow1        Saving project with changes

If you save your changes (without closing the project) then the following files are handled:

1.NPO_[DWGGUID].xml => COMMITED
 

hmtoggle_arrow1        Closing project with changes

If you close the project and saving your changes then the following files are handled:

1.NPO_[DWGGUID].xml => CHECKED IN

2.DWGs => UNDO CHECK OUT
 

hmtoggle_arrow1        Refresh project with changes

If you refresh the project and saving your changes then the following files are handled:

1.NPO_[DWGGUID].xml => CHECKED IN
 

hmtoggle_arrow1        Open Project in Plant 3D

If you open the project then the following files are handled:

1.NPO_[DWGGUID].xml => DOWNLOADED
On project load to show the notification dialogs.
 

hmtoggle_arrow1        Executing NPO Tasks on Project Load

If you open the project then the following files are handled:

1.NPO_[DWGGUID].xml => CHECKED OUT/DELETED
xml files are checked out one by one. The tasks in the xml files are executed. The xml files will be deleted at the end.
 

hmtoggle_arrow1        Executing NPO Tasks on Drawing Open

If you open a draqwing then the following files are handled:

1.NPO_[DWGGUID].xml => CHECKED OUT/DELETED
xml file is checked out. The tasks in the xml file are executed. The xml file will be deleted at the end.
