PlantSync is a tool to transfer the settings of AutoCAD® P&ID/Plant 3D from one project to others. It can take over all the settings or just some of them.

To explain what "Settings" are we show the picture from the "Sync configuration" user interface. On the left side you see the various sections you know from AutoCAD® P&ID, for example "Data Manager Configurations (Views)". In addition to that there are sections which contain settings which can be accessed by other dialogboxes within AutoCAD® P&ID/Plant 3D, for example the selection lists or the validation settings.

In the chapter Configurations we will address each on of these settings. How to use explains the general way how to use PlantSync.
