This chapter describes the Different Value option of the AttributeFlow.
For the purpose of this chapter we enable the checkbox for the spec property to later show the difference in behavior between spec and size property.
The option Different Value is used when you have two line segments which are connected end-to-end. It doesn't matter if the two line segments are connected in a straight line or as in this example with a corner.
We start with no given spec or size values in both line segments.
Since both spec and size are equal/empty in both line segments, the checkbox has no influence of the behavior. By default, AttributeFlow will just let the values flow.
As you can see here, changing the spec in one line segment, will automatically propagate the value to the other line segment.
The same is true for the size.
Now we use a new example where we have given spec and size, but with different values. This is where the Different Value options comes into play.
We change the size, and it is propagated to the other line segment, because the checkbox for spec under Different Value is enabled.
If we now change the size, the size does not flow to the other line segment.
Remark: As you can see in the image the size is flowing after all. This is a bug we need to fix.
